Outreach

We established "ER Stress Research Institute, Inc.", as a start-up born out of Tokushima University. This initiative followed our groundbreaking discovery that endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress plays a causative role in the development of diabetes. Our company is dedicated to harnessing the technologies developed at Tokushima University to create therapeutic solutions for a variety of diseases linked to ER stress. To achieve this mission, we are actively collaborating with pharmaceutical companies across the globe.
